I recently posted about a number of vintage finds, and indicated that I would follow up with a special post dedicated to the bench I bought at the same time. The title of this post is taken from a Flikr group where photographers share pictures taken of themselves standing on a bench on Monday afternoons. I love this bench, and the fact that it was priced at less than half of the original price helped. The seat is one long piece of wood, carved but left with much of its natural shape and character. And it's my new favorite spot for taking pictures.

I'd wondered what surface the Crusty and UnCrusty Pots were photographed on ... a very interesting finish!
Nice bench. Can you stand on it on Mondays?
